Preface#
It has been over a year since I came to Beijing. Due to staying in my own little house for a long time, I didn't have much mood to explore. The four seasons of Beijing for me are just the scenery of plants and trees on the way to work, and I haven't even set foot in the most familiar attractions.
In fact, I have traveled to many cities over the years. Every time, I always feel that "there is still time", "there is a long way to go", "there will always be opportunities", but often leave behind many regrets. It is almost late autumn now, nearing December, and I realized that the planned red leaves of Fragrant Hills may only have some remnants left. However, I still decided to use my camera to capture some traces of autumn.
I have read Lin Yutang's "Moment In Peking", which carries many joys and sorrows of this city and outlines my first impression of Beijing. So this photobook is also named "Moment In Peking (The Autumn)", even though the autumn has almost faded away, it is still a memory of the city.
Special thanks to my senior schoolmate who just got her driver's license and was willing to rent a car to take me there despite the worsening epidemic situation (one dares to drive, one dares to ride).
