Preface#
Since November, I have been wanting to take some good photos, but the lighting at home is not very good. At that time, I was busy with work and didn't deliberately purchase props and lighting equipment. Today, while editing the photos (I mainly just adjusted the colors, lazy), I felt that the final results were not very satisfactory. However, I couldn't let my New Year's Day flag fall, so I asked a friend to select a few photos that I thought were still okay. It can be considered a good start.
My interest in photography was inspired by a documentary journalist and filmmaker, so I am more concerned about composition and elements in the images. I always hope that every photo I take has some storytelling and themes (low emotional intelligence: lack of technical skills). Because I really like this photo of the cat in the box, I named this special collection "Cat In The Box". There is also a scene where the cat is standing on a book by Murakami that I was halfway through reading. This reminded me of Murakami's description of cats in his book, which made me even more eager to have a cat. It felt like a wonderful coincidence, so I named it "Cats and Murakami". There are also a few photos that were taken before going to bed. The lighting was so dark that even post-processing couldn't save them, but I really think they are cute (it's the photographer's fault). So I decided to include them as extras and named them "Silence" (yes, I've been a bit obsessed with the Japanese drama "Shizuka" recently).
Actually, it has been about two years since I last picked up a camera to take photos properly. I want to start recording my life again and put more effort into photography (previously relying solely on mystical aesthetics and good-looking models). So I added a photography collection section to my blog's project module as a way to document my photography improvement plan. I also want to take more photos in the new year.
Since this is a photography collection, I don't want to compromise on image quality. Each photo is close to 10MB and is stored on Alibaba Cloud OSS (billing warning ⚠️). Loading may be slightly slower, please understand.
